The holy Eucharist completes Christian initiation. Those who have been raised to the dignity of the royal priesthood by Baptism and configured more deeply to Christ by Confirmation participate with the whole community in the Lord's own sacrifice by means of the Eucharist. -- Cathechism of the Catholic Church, Paragraph #1322
Preparation for First Communion and the Sacrament of Confirmation are included in our Religious Education Program. Religious Education for our children is offered for Kindergarten through 12th grade students at St. Joseph during the regular school semester. Prepartion for First Communion begins during second grade. We ask that you become a registered and active parishioner when enrolling your child, if not before.
