Grand Generation

The Grand Generation, which began around 2006, is the name given to our group of 60(plus) year old parishioners. The Grand Generation meets for a luncheon provided for them on the first Tuesday of each month (with a couple of months off in the summer) at 11:30am in the Parish Center.

Occasionally there is a guest speaker for the luncheon, and when there isn’t one, our members fill in that time with great conversations with their friends. This group was formed to give the members an opportunity to socialize with long time friends and to meet new friends as well. It was also formed, especially in regards to the luncheon, as a way to say thank you to our parishioners who have served St. Joseph parish (or other previous parishes) in a variety of ways and for many years. We would not be the same here at St. Joseph if it hadn’t been for the leadership and example of these members and for that we are very grateful.
