The Ladies Luncheon was started many years ago by Mary Runnels and Carolyn Arnold as a way for ladies in the parish to get together to socialize. Today, their goal is the same. They get together for good food and fellowship.
The group meets in hostesses homes or at the Parish Center. There are usually two or more hostesses for each luncheon. Hosting is strictly voluntary. They average about 20 attendees at each luncheon. Many of the women are long-time parishioners. So it is a good way for new ladies to meet others!
