Lectors

Lectors have the responsibility and the privelege of making the Word of God present through its proclamation during the Liturgy of the Word at Mass on week days, Sunday's, Holy Days of Obligation, and other liturgical services, such as Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and the Easter Vigil. 

Lectors are asked to attend an annual training session to hear about updates and to receive a Lector Workbook. Lectors are scheduled far enough in advance to allow for adequate preparation for the readings.
