Vocations

The St. Joseph Vocation Committee is a group of lay people that promote vocation awareness among parishioners. There are four major vocations: Priesthood, Religious Life, Marriage, and Single Life. 

They work to provide individuals, couples, and families opportunities to discover God's plan through prayer, Eucharistic adoration, and meditation. Current activities include:

1. Lead a rosary prayer for vocations every first Sunday of the month
2. Maintain the vocations display in the back of the Church that displays seminarians in the Diocese of Jackson and couples going through marriage preparation in our Parish
3. Organize the Elijah Cup program, which is a prayer devotion for seminarians and priests
